The modern world enforces confidence and self-respect which is, no doubt a praiseworthy attribute. However there is a very fine line between confidence and arrogance. Lack of spiritual awakening and ideally mentoring from the pious throws one in to the deep of arrogance & haughtiness – one of the most hated spiritual crimes in the sight of Creator.
