Difference of opinion between the Imams on the issue with their evidences. It is probably one of the the most differed upon matter between the different schools of thought. As per Imaam Abu Haneefa witr is waajib. As per Imaam Maalik, Shafi’i and Hambali witr is sunnah mu-akkadah.
