What is the ruling on Jallaalah? Is chicken included in it if it feeds on impurities?
Jallaalah are quadrupeds (eg. Cattle, sheep) that happen to feed on impurities or Jillah or Jallah (faeces). When impure diet of these animals affects the odour or the meat then it is Makrooh tahreemi to eat it.
